Robin Roberts is an American television broadcaster famous for being an anchor of ABC’s Good Morning America.She was the first woman of color and first openly LGBT woman to host the American TV game show Jeopardy.
After growing up in Mississippi and attending Southeastern Louisiana University, Roberts embarked on her career as a sports anchor for local TV and radio stations. Subsequently, she worked as an ESPN sportscaster for 15 years.
In 2005, she became the co-anchor of Good Morning America. Her remarkable contributions to the field of sports led to her induction into the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame in 2012.
