Jayson Christopher Tatum Sr is an American professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association.He played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils.
Christopher was selected with the third overall pick by the Boston Celtics in the 2017 NBA draft.In 2022 he helped the Celtics reach the NBA finals and also won a gold medal on the 2020 US Olympic team in Tokyo.
He holds the record for most points scored in an NBA All-star game with 55 points.Tatum attended Chaminade College in Creve Coeur,Missouri.He scored 13.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game as a freshman and was awarded Metro Catholic Conference Co-Player of the Year in 2013, guiding the Red Devils to MCC and Missouri District 2 titles.
Tatum was a five-star recruit and regarded as one of the top talents . In the 2016 high school class, he was rated third overall, after Harry Giles and Josh Jackson, and second at small forward.
