Jacob Arabo owner of Jacob & Co is an American Jewelry and watch developer born in Tashkent, Soviet Union. His extravagant designs gained the attention famous Celebrities for their bold and unique designs which helped in establishing his name in the Luxury Industry
His interest in watches began at an early age when his father gifted him a World Time watch. He quoted ‘I Loved all the bitsy corridor and gears’ which grew his interest in Watches.
Arabo dropped out of the academy at the age of 16 before completing his High School Education due to his family’s financial issues and enrolled in a six-month Jewelry-making course rather. He managed to get employed near a plant making mass-producing noncommercial jewelry, where he made $125 per week.By the time he was 17 years old, he had become a master by spending his time in his bedroom creating his own work which would perfect his skill.
In 1979 his family emigrated to New York City and they lived in Forest Hills, Queens where he attended Forest Hills High School briefly. Arabo established Diamond Quasar, a retailer of jewels, in 1986 when he was just 21 years old. He created his own creations for private clientele under the Jacob & Co brand. He opened his own pavilion in the early 1990s in New York’s Diamond District.
