Jalen Romande Green is an American Basketball player for the Houston Rockets in the NBA. He was a clear five-star rookie and the most fashionable firing guard in the 2020 class, according to ESPN, which ranked him first overall. He completed his high school career at Prolific Prep in Napa, California, and made the decision to forgo council basketball in order to play in the first season of the NBA G League enlighten platoon. Green was voted the 2018 FIBA Under-17 World Cup’s Most Valuable Player after helping the United States to three gold medals in the inferior position. The Houston Rockets selected Green with the second-overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. He joins Raymond Townsend and Jordan Clarkson as NBA players of Filipino origin.
